It is crucial to get the facts on Home Rule and understand why the city is attempting to create a sense of crisis when there isn't one. The Sedona community initiatives have raised concerns, particularly with the upcoming Sedona Elections for the city council, which will also focus on issues like The Cultural Park and the red rocks. In 2018, we encountered similar challenges, and now in 2026, the situation is significantly worse. There is increased spending, more waste, a larger number of city employees, and a declining population, yet the tourist numbers remain unchanged.
